Anybody know the best way to completely get rid of border glue. I've managed to pull the border and backing off BUT there's still a glue residue on the wall. If I paint over this gluey area it doesn't retain the paint well and can look bumpy. Help!

also try white spirit, or metheylated spirits (purple) from diy stores, and dont forget the ventilation. let dry completely before painting, and check small area for low adhesion before tackling whole wall.

Try Wm. Zinsser DIF Wallpaper Stripper. Any good paint merchant should have it.
