I'm looking for a UK company that can produce a custom made stain glass window. I'm hoping to put a large pieces of stain glass in a partitioned wall between my conservatory and kitchen. Any ideas or alternative suggestions.

My last reply seems to have got lost in the ether - somewhere between my computer and UK Style. So here goes again...

Try 'stainedglassnews' in the UK (get it?). They have a WEBSITE which gives names and addresses of stained glass suppliers in the UK.

Hi Claire, if you lived a bit closer to me i would do it for you :D You could try getting in touch with the local college to see if they do evening classes teaching stained glass.....and then pop along and see if someone there would do it for you (cheaper that way )
But be aware that it is normally very expensive to have a piece of stained glass made ... but is well worth it if you don't mind paying.

Or alternately you could thumb through the yellow pages and contact local glaziers ...

Local glaziers don't do stained glass!!!! Or they do the imitation stained glass like you get in the double glazed windows/doors :(

Try the salvage yards for old doors as these often have stained glass in...
