hi all, i am looking for help (not that kind!!!!!), i am doing a medievil design for a video store, and as medievil=tapestries for wallpaper, i was wondering if any of you tapestry making crafters would mind me using your name in my project. if you have any medievil type designs, could you send me piccies of them, and size and price etc.. it would help me no end, and when i am up and running, maybe ill even commission you myself!!!so, how about it? pleeaaaaasssssssseeeeee!!!!!!

Riah, have you also thought about using wrapping paper in decoupage? I made a firescreen a couple of years ago using a medieval design wrapping paper and it sold within minutes of the varnish being dry!!! There are a couple of lovely designs around - don't know where you would use them in a video store though

Hi Again, if you have trouble finding tapestries in the budget you have been given, you could use lazertran to transfer a design onto a nice heavy piece of fabric to imitate the real thing. I would imagine that real tapestries would cost an absolute fortune because of the incredible amount of time they take to make. Will you be allowed to take pics of the finished design to share with us all?

hi all, thanx for the ideas they all come in handy!! hadt rhought of the lazertran thingy, it will be a consideration now tho'!!! unfortunately, there isnt an actual place to do up, only on paper, so what i can do, is as soon as i have done the design, i will see if i can post it in the 'my makeovers' section, what do you think anna or louise? can i do that? we wont be getting the sizes and stuff of the shop till end of may, so it will be a while. im doing an office at the mo, tho' if anyone is interested!!and i have my designs from last year as well, so if i set up a website thing, would you be interested in looking at it? keep the ideas coming, and any space saving ideas for a study/bedroom would be welcomed as well!!! hi all, i will try to post some piccies on the makeovers bit, but as all my designs are for my course there isn't any actual rooms to do up, just all on paper. i can post my pictures of elevations (walls) and mood boards and see if that gets me anywhere.
this is the second year of college ive been doing interior desin, so im always doing something, but so far its only been on paper, apaert from my bathroom and my nans old bathroom that i did up. keep you all updated!!!
