hi, I have just sent my home makeover pictures via email, and I was wondering 1: would I get a confirmation saying you have got it and the pictures came out?, 2:how long does it take for them to be put on the site? and 3: if I am lucky enough to win a book, will i be notified by email/post so I know to expect a parcel?

Hi Riah, yes you get an e-mail telling you that you have won and asking for your home address... the book then comes very quickly after that...

I won Darmun Gavin's Planet Patio book back in August... which was a surprise... although I do have spates of winning things now and then - not the lottery though... :(

Hi There, What am I doing wrong;(, whenever I go to the "your makeovers" section I am still seeing the same pics that have been there for weeks. I have just checked before coming onto the message board (I have even checked for a second page!). Perhaps I need to have my eyes checked or (more likely) do some kind of computer course so that I understand what I am doing!!! Help please

Jackie....I have just checked and yes, the older makeovers are still there, but the top one is a new one, and right hand bottom is also a new one. ...Well that's what i have on my screen

Hi Jacqui. Steph's right - the star makeover is new and so is Riah's (which appears on the bottom right). The reason they don't change more frequently is we're not getting any pixs from you camera-shy people! Send more in and they will appear!

Thanks for your replies, I have just checked again and using the "your makeovers" from the left hand menu I still get the old makeovers (Kathryn at the top and Nadine at the bottom right)!!! Perhaps there is a time delay in Birmingham :confused

I managed to find Steph and Riah's makeovers by typing in the names and doing a search
They are fantastic, I love the idea of using a roll of tape as a stencil, and the bathroom looks nice and fresh now. And Steph's living room is fantastic, leave the keys under the flowerpot and I am moving in :D

Hi Jacqui. It's strange that you're still not seeing the most recent versions. Your browser must be caching the old version somehow, although our technical team are puzzled! When you're on the page, try pressing 'ctrl' and 'F5' at the same time - this should force your browser to go to the server.

I was intreigued so went to have a look - very impressed... I haven't done anything in my house since I moved in except paint the hall a warming peach colour - much better than Magnolia...

For those who dont know me I had Magnolia in all the downstairs rooms except the loo - which is bright yellow... but as my Mum has been in and out of hospital for a lot of the time last year I couldnt get much done... :(

I still haven't finished the packing and what with work and spending weekends with Mum I dont have a lot of chance... the garden takes up a lot of time in the summer...

I know excuses excuses...

But you have inspired me to get on with the living room - so first things first replacing the back boiler, sorting out the heating and getting a marble fireplace installed, with a coal effect fire... then I can sort out decorating the room...
