Hi Candy,

I think so too - he is sex on legs - and I wouldn't kick him out of my flower beds in a hurry... Embarrassed

I didn't realise anyone else felt the same way as me. I've thought he needed mothering for a long time but, as I'm married as well he's out of bounds

The gorgeous Mr Knibbs is being held hostage in my potting shed...yes I am being greedy, so have decided to share him with you, my message board friends. I think a week each is more than fair as long as I get him back now and again. xx

Hi Blonde62,

I can share in your fantasy... and I do have a garden shed - although I tend to do my potting on the patio...

So can I book him for a week commencing Monday 20th September - then I can have him for a birthday present and slowly unwrap him... Embarrassed

I think I will have to be careful or this will end up being censored...

As for being posh - yes I think he probably does come from a privileged background...

Come on UKStyle lets have some programmes featuring him - what about a weekend dedicated to the lushious Mr Simon Harrison-Kibbs?...

Les(62), What I forgot to mention was that I do have an air-raid shelter, so the Lady Chatterley scenario is not completely over. Not very romantic perhaps, but the best part of being a Lady is knowing when NOT to be one. I still think you're a cheeky devil.xx

Hi Akingsho, Great minds think alike, I really like the "unwrapping", enjoy you're birthday and be gentle with the gorgeous Mr Knibbs..or maybe not, I'll leave that to your discression, if you know what I mean! Just return him in one "reasonably" healthy piece.xx

I must apologise for lowering the tone, but he's just so earthy and TACTILE..ooh young man.

Yes, I like the idea of slowly unwrapping him... but all I get is a fridge/freezer... not that I am complaining - or am I?.

Hi Angie,
a fridge/freezer is a very usefull appliance, but it doesn't exactly set a womans heart a beating.
Now if you'd had a Harrison Knibbs delivered, WELL....that would be something else entirely. I won't lower the tone today, suffice to say an SHK would be infinitely more exciting, entertaining, pleasurable and time consuming !!! In the nicest possible way of course. Hope you enjoyed your B'day anyway.x

Does anyone know when we shall see the return of Simon and Ryan, am having withdrawal symptoms.

Hi Sheryl,

I couldn't agree with you more... the Fridge/freezer was delivered by two grumpy men who did not want to take the old one away because it was a bit greasy... not my fault it had stood next to a cooker for a few years (no other space) and I had tried everything to get it clean...

There last excuse being that it wouldn't fit through the door - I said that as the door had not been taken off to get it in that it had too... - they were so ungreatful that I did not even give them a bonus which I would have done if they hadn;t have moaned so...

But now I have been able to properly organise the kitchen (oh the things that delight Smile )... the counter top is now back in position where the fridge/freezer used to be - and the new slimline fridge/freezer is in its alloted spot... and best of all the slide in cooker does actually fit its space now with no gaps around it for vigerously stired stir fry to disappear down...

For the moment I have put one of those wicker drawer units in the spot to hide the pipes, next will be the purchase of a dishwasher... but until then the cats find delight in hiding down there - although it did mean that Daisy had to limbo under the bottom of the drawers...

Once I have recarpetted and decorated the house the next step, I think, will be to give the kitchen a face lift by replacing the cupboard doors and drawer fronts...

But as for SHK... oh to find his battered lanny parked outside... COME ON UKSTYLE when are we going to see more of him (so to speak)... Embarrassed

Hi Angie,
Your kitchen sounds very much like mine, but obviously you are in the process of doing something about it. Whereas my gaps between appliances are still receiving dropped food, the dog thinks it's a great game as she can get her paws in and have a nice little snack!
I came home from a very long night shift last Mon. morning, flicked on the TV and what did I see?? yes thats right the gorgeous Mr Knibbs, eating compost no-less!! I dont care, still think he's the best. So far I have seen him eat compost, an old potato from a compost bin, inhale the aroma of cow dung like it was Channel no 5, amongst other things...strange. But I think that must mean I'm strange too as it doesn't put me off him!!!!
I find him hilarious, apart from anything else (you know what else I think..be still my beating heart), and am happy to see the two of them back on again.
Happy decorating
Sheryl.xx

Hi Sheryl,

I know, I remembered that I could do a search on Sky for a programme - disappointed as I work... I think that he must be married - such a shame...

As for DIY I have found someone who will install a loft hatch and also suggested where I could get a decent one... so I am going to get that put in hand - and I will also get him to put part of the kitchen work top back in - as the previous owners tore it out when they left (to remove the dish washer)... I left it out as the fridge freezer was there but now that is sorted into its new place the work top has gone back in - but only a temporary fix...

Hi,
Have just discovered this site.. I've only recently come across Gardens Unplugged and the lovely sexy Simon. What is it about him??? I can't put my finger on it, but I'm addicted. He's usurped my previous idols, Alan Titchmarsh and Diurmad Gavin. ( My daughter hates the programme, even though we normally agree on dishy gardeners! ) I rush home from work without even buying dinner just to get in in time to make a cuppa and sit down for my fix of Simon before my husband gets in. He usually arrives about halfway through but has learnt not to talk to me till the programme's over.

Hi Jinnie,

I dont know what it is - maybe it is something to do with his unkempt look - or his ruffled hair... but he is so georgious...

Can we have more of him please UKStyle Team... Embarrassed

Well, am suffering from withdrawal symptoms today...I knew that I wouldn't be home in time for my 4.30 fix of Simon, so I left hubby specific instructions on how to tape from Freeview as he's a REAL technophobe. Got home about 10 mins before the end.. no recording light showing on the VCR! He told me he couldn't get the tape in. Arrgh!!! After the end he took the VCR to bits (he can cope with that side of things) to find my 2yr old grandson had posted some paper into it.. ... Men!!!..even at the age of two! (apart from SHK, of course... )
And hubby's got the day off work tomorrow, so I hope he doesn't chat all through tomorrow's episode...
Has anybody found out what Simon's up to nowadays? I've noticed those progs were made in 2001.
