Hi All,
I have told a friend that this is the best site on the web and now I have to really prove it.
He can't get hold of dri lock walling and he needs 8 flat top and 40 middles - all red.
Can anyone put me in the right direction, please?
Cheers
Les

Hi Enrie Smile

You know I tried all may favourite search engines on the net and they all seem to come back with the same things: snowboarding, graphic chip lock ups, paint, etc.

I know the stuff you mean though and I can honestly say that I have not seen it for quite a few years so maybe the UKStyle team can help on this one.

Now this could be the ultimate test of the shopping expert Smile

All the best

Steve

Thanks Steve,
I note the Subject heading read wrongly. I meant Dri lock walling, of course (not dry (sic)).
Well, I hope that the UK Style Team (xxx) will take up the cause and try to help me.
It's not as though I'm asking them to tear down my 30 scotch pines, is it!!
Cheers
Les or even Enrie, Steve, 'cos you tried to help, for which I thank you.

I see I am now number 10 in the Top 10 Contributors List.
Does that get me anymore support from the UK Style Team(xxx)??
Will they now take up my dri lock walling challenge?
Cheers
Les

Hi Les
At the risk of sounding thick, what is Dri Lock Walling and what will it be used for? Is it some sort of container? My curiousity has got the better of me!

Hi Jacqui D,
If you imagine a normal brick, dri lock bricks have an appendage in the centre which locks into a grove in the lower brick. They are used for small garden walls, raised beds etc........I think!
Hope you can now tell me where I can obtain same - don't forget they should be red, please?
Apparently, there were some, or something similar, on display at the Ideal Home Exhibition last year, as well. They now appear to have disappeared off the face of the earth.
Cheers

I arrived at the Lincoln Dancentre Dance/Social tonight. "Well?" said Pete. I had actually forgotten about my promise that UK style would come up with his Dri Lock Walling solution.
"They are still working on it." I said. Oh well, I guess I'll have to tell him next week that I have let him down.
Cheers

Hi Les
I did a few searches on Google last week when you mentioned this. This sort of walling appears to be available in America. I think 'Easywall' was mentioned. I think your friend's best bet is to ring a few walling companies, which can be found on the internet - they are bound to know if dry lock walling is available here. Hope you are enjoying the break Smile bye for now,
Jacqui D

JacquiD,
There's me out in the garden and you busy searching for dri lock walling (don't forget it's dri NOT dry). You are a true UK Styler.
Thanks. I'll pass your message on to Pete.
The girls have gone out for a walk. It's Lynne's birthday today so we are off out for an 'Indian' tonight.
Enjoy Easter.
Cheers
Les
