I am looking for ideas for my 8 year old daughters bedroom, she wants a dalmation theme. I am thinking of white walls with spots or footprints over it i would like to put a few paintings of the puppies up on the wall but i am not very good at drawing in the room there is fitted wardrobes that take up one wall the centre panel being mirror i am going to be getting new carpet and curtains I would love to hear from anyone who can help me with ideas on how to do it and also colours i hope this is enough information as this is my first post

You could use black sticky black plastic cut into paw prints to cover the wardrobe? AND, do you have old furniture - then you could paint the furniture white with spots but not have to paint all the walls? AND buy cheapy white curtains and sew black felt paw prints or spots onto the curtains, then the whole lot is easily changed IF she tires of it. I did the walls in my daughter bedroom - not dalmation but different blues, and it's going to be a big thing to have to paint all the walls when she suddenly says 'can I change the walls please mom'.

Sounds great! You could also buy a fluffy white rug and also some white and black fur fabric and make cushions. You might be able to get a dalmation poster from Woolworths or Smiths to save having to do your own artwork!

hi, yesterday in B&Q i saw the cutest picture of dalmation puppies, (real ones) in a 101 dalmations (film) frame. you could change the frame at a later date to a plain one, and still have the cute picture for (another) new look when the need arises!
