I need a shrug. I think that's what they're called, but not one of your 6 best, unfortunately. I have got the rest of my christmas outfit- a long midnight blue taffeta skirt which I shall wear with a devore velvet bustier (by special request, only he doesn't know it yet) in the same colour.

I'm looking for something like a shrug but that doesn't do up in front, is not cropped (I am tall as well as long-bodied); in silver or with silver edging. If its dip-dyed silver and midnight I'll take a dozen. And suggestions for a necklace. Thanks in advance. Trisha

Hi Tertia,

As far as i'm aware shrugs are always cropped, so what i think you are after is a kind of sleeved fitted cardigan. Thankfully due to the party season almost upon us the high street is awash with sequinned numbers and i have seen some great silver sequinned type cardigans, both short and long sleeve (minus any frumpy buttons) in Dorothy Perkins, Warehouse and Primark.

You could even consider wearing a pashmina. They always look very classy and will keep you warm!

As far as suggestions for a necklace go, check out the latest ranges in Top Shop and Marks and Spencers. As your bustier sounds so fantastic i would try not to have anything too fussy - you don't want to divert attention away from it!

Good luck!
