hello i have just moved into my first home and have a terrible peach bathroom suite.which i do not like, unfortunately i do not have enough money to replace it with a white contempory bathroom so any ideas/tips you can give would be most appreciated.THANKYOU SUE

You could set fire to your bathroom and claim a new one off the house insurance!!! Or more sensibly you could try and find a theme that would work with the peach colour; perhaps a soft oriental theme with peach, cream and green. Or paint the walls white and stencil using other colours with just a little bit of the suite colour to tie it all together. Good luck with whatever you choose. And if you really can't find anything you like then remove the lightbulb and keep your eyes closed whenever you go in there!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree with jacqui (not about setting fire to your bathroom) if it was mine i think i would paint the walls cream to make the room look bigger and stencil or paint 'blocks' of paint using peach, then i would add green into the room by way of accessories - towells, plants etc. if you do opt for green use a soft green such as pistachio, not bright limey greens.

Hi sue, How about having you suite Re- enameled. that is of course, If it,s enamel to start off with. The work can be successfully, done by a DIY pro. And will look fantastic afterwards. otherwise It seems, you are stuck with the option of Making the suite less obvious.by adding maybe, a nice Side panel.and some nice accessories, to take your eye away from the suite. we had a brown bathroom suite loved the size of the bath but hated the colour we painted it with plasti-kote it worked it took about 5 cans but then we done the sink and toilet they were ceramic as soon as water hit it came off but it worked on the plastic bath we have now got a new suite, you will get it in focus or wilko read the can and see what you think, good luck.

hi sue, gold looks lovely with peach, if you have got the room, add tall candle holders in gold, and try to match with unusual mirror, when you have got lovely accessories, you wont notice the bathroom suite so much, happy days in cornwall.
