Im moving in to a bigger house, i currently have a large 3 seater brown leather sofa which isnt going to be enough in the new living room. As im on a tight budget with another baby on the way, i was wondering if it would work if i bought a patterened sofa, have matching cushions on the leather sofa to make them fit? Or will this actually look rly crap in reality? The patterened sofa is on DFS site reduced to £695 and is brown and bronze?

Also would a feature wall work and which wall is best to have it on?

So sorry for all the questions abbie x

Hi Abbie, if I was having a feature wall, I would put the leather sofa against it, but I'm not sure if I'd do a patterned wall if one of the sofas was also patterned (it may be too much!). Personally I wouldn't put a patterned sofa wit a leather one, what about a plain sofa with washable covers (good if you have small people in your house!)
If you haven't found these sites yet, they may be worth a look...
www.sofasofa.co.uk (seriously affordable sofas, we got our sofa from them last year and it's great)
www.prettypracticals.co.uk (painted furniture, French furniture, not much in the way of leather seating, but lots of cushions, throws and other bits and pieces).
Good luck with your search...
