colour scheme advice needed!

hello, i am looking to re decorate my lounge, i have a bright blue modern suite, dark wooden floor and beech furniture. any ideas on a colour scheme? its been magnoila for the last couple of years and im ready for a change. i have two alcoves so could just have a feature colour in those or on the chimney breast, but which???
