Howdy there...

I am going to be giving my bathroom a makeover shortly but dont want to get rid of the wood side panel on the bath. It isnt varnished or anything so I just want to put a simple white colour wash on it so you can still see the woodgrain but not just the plain wood. How do I go about it? What ratio do I water down the paint to? Is it half and half?

one part emulsion to 2 parts water. remember to varnish it to water proof it.
