Hi Hootie,

Fainting is caused when only a small amont of blood circulates round the brain caused by shock as you probably know. The goal if this happens if you get blood back into the brain. You lie them on their back for comfort, and legs raised so gravity brings blood to the brain. The casualty should be turned of their side if any form of liquid come from the mouth. Unless your thinking of an unconcious casualty, in which case on their back in not right! Wink Not insulting your knowledge, just what i learnt not so long ago Smile
