HELLO.
my son has some heart probs which wake him up so much (approx 6 times) in the night, but i've started to think this cld also be outta habit aswell as he has improved on his sleep, but his heart is pretty much the same as it always has been. (used to wake up to 16 times p.nght) the drs say i cant used controlled crying an i've tried sleeping on the floor next to his bed and putting him to sleep thru patting him on his back but i always ended up sleeping in his bed thru sheer exhustion. Now for the past 6weeks he's been in bed with me as the constant lack of sleep for 2years was taking its toll and my husband suggested as it would be easier for me. however its not practical for married life. He does have his dummy at bedtime and i've also tried a comforting blanket with my smell on but this also has no effect! I'm getting desperate for help and sleep so any advice is more than welcome.
