I am not sure how everyone on here feels about 'For Sale By Owner' websites, but it does seem like a much cheaper way to sell a property.

If any of you are in the process of selling your home, or are using an FSBO website, then take a look at www.thehousesale.co.uk. I came across it yesterday and am getting my brother to use it as he is spending a fortune with his estate agent at the moment!

It is a new website which has a limited offer enabling you to advertise your property free while it gets off the ground, and as far as I can see, no other site does this. The adverts make your property look very professional and I think it has an option to download property details on to a PDF with no charge at all.

I hope this post doesn't look like advertising, but I just wanted to genuinely share this with all of you as there are few things free like this around at the moment.

There are loads of other FSBO sites that offer free listings. It is best to choose one that also gives an option to advertise on other portals as your property will get extra exposure through these.

I've come across [link] (advertised in Move to the Country magazine) which gives a full advertising package for free.

Hi well I know I'm new here and don't want to break any rules or anything about advertising...but I saw this one www.homefinderuk.com who will sell your house for free and enable you to get around putting a hip in place too! My Aunty Katie used them and said they were fab...(apparently they do all the house finding for all the footballers too!!) Big Grin

Has anyone tried www.agentquote.co.uk It's a great site that helps you to find an estate agent in your area and get a quotation from them without having to pass on your full contact details - so there's no hard sell contact facilitated.

Do you mean a quotation for a valuation on your house?
