Hi. We have just had an offer accepted on a property in Hove. As we have had 3 other places fall through we are no paranoid about it going wrong or costing us more wasted money! I purchased the deeds from the Land Registry and it mentioned that there is a sewer running underneath the property. I have requested details of the sewer from the water board. I know all this comes up on your searches but I don't want pay for another survey and searches and then loose the money.

Basically should a sewer under a property put you off buying? My gut feeling is yes but I have no idea how risky this is or how much trouble we would have selling the property.
