Can anyone help! I have a large bay window in my lounge of my ground floor flat divided into 5 sections and I hate net curtains, but I need something for the privacy and light! The measurements are (H)168cmx(W)63cm! Any ideas? Cry

Blinds are recommended for bay windows as you can buy the exact meaurements to fit each sections. There are so many options available from venetians, vertical blinds and roller blinds. I think Hillary's are the major supplier in this field and will do a home visit to measure and fit.
The alternative is frosting. Again there are so many options available in different designs and I think I saw one the other day which you didn't even need to stick on - it stuck on by itself by friction somehow (?). Frosting also comes in a spray as well as on a sheet and you may perhaps only need to frost the lower part of your window for the privacy element and leave the top part clear to let the light in.

I would recommend wooden blinds, they look so much nicer. Try Ikea or even Argos.
Frosting is also a good idea, I think B&Q now do rolls of it or look in the back of a home magazine and there are quite a few companies that advertise in them that will also send out samples.
Good luck Big Grin
