My best friend has 2 month old twins - one of each. She is currently suffering from post-natal depression and never leaves the house or gets herself or the babies dressed. She is Bottle Feeding them both but I have noticed that when starting the feeding process for them both, she gets both bottles warmed up, feeds and winds one of them (which can take around 40 minutes) and when the baby has had enough, she puts the remaining formula to one side. She then starts feeding the second baby with one of the bottles she took out 40 minutes ago and goes through the same process, putting the remaining formula to one side. After the initial feeding has taken place, should one of them start crying anytime within the next 3/4 hours, she starts feeding them the remaining formula that she put to one side. Her little boy suffers terrible wind and is nearly always screaming. I fear that it is down to the fact that the formula is left out for hours and need someone's advice before I try and gently talk to her. Can anyone help?
