Do you think it's still the right time for investing in Spain or is it overpriced ? Develish

Spain is far too over priced and over built. The prices have to come down and the Spanish have to start getting realistic as to what the price are that they are commanding for new and resale property. My advice is wait for at least a year and look again.

It depends what part of Spain you want. I have lived in Galicia (NW) for the last 4 years, we paid £15,000 for our smallholding with 2 acres of land and a huge barn. My partner & I have recently split & I've bought another house for £13,000 although it needs lots of restoration, I love doing that anyway. There are many cheap houses around as this area is relatively undiscovered. There is very little red tape as in South Spain or all the hassles of buying down there. If I can help with any more info, please ask. Jacki

I think within the next 2 months prices will drop considerably. They are doing so now. I live in spain and I am renting, I have been waiting to buy. I would never buy the farm house out in the country, although I loved that style in other countries, but Spain the country side is really depressing. I find Valencia the best all around place to live in in Spain. I have been all over.
