I am a size 14 but have a "tummy" - is is still possible to get away with a pencil skirt?

Hi there

AT a size 14 you can definitely wear a pencil skirt. In order to disguise your tummy, consider wearing a top that skims the lower edge of your tummy.

There are a lot of princess line tops available at the moment. Consider tops that are cut on the bias or have gathered detailing at the front. Also consider wearing a top with an asymetric hem line. These work wonders to cover the tummy area.

Ensure that your top is not too long, or too wide as this may have an overbearing effect on the line of the pencil skirt. If you decide to wear a shirt try adding a low slung hip belt. This also detracts from the tummy area.

Try on before you buy. Even if what you see on the hanger does not immediatly appeal. You may be pleasantly suprised!!
