Hi all. I have been living the dream for nearly four years now & still love it. Unfortunately my partner is now an ex & I am just about to complete on my own property. It is old & in need of complete renovation. No bathroom, electricity, water, a kitchen with the old range still intact etc. I am intending doing everything myself except the leccy which I'm scared of!! I was wondering if anyone in UKtv style would be interested in the ongoing saga which I'm sure will be unfolding in the very near future. As yet the building is untouched & so I can begin photographing & logging everything from scratch if there is any interest. I have a few pics already so if anyone is interested, I can send them. I will be picking the brains of all the experts on this site, so please keep up the good work! Jacki

Hi lj36, I'm sorry I haven't responded sooner, I have been in UK finishing up there and have only just seen your reply. Yes I would be very interested. I have been keeping a log of my progress which only started in April of this year and is quite slow at the moment as the financial side of our split is yet to be completed. Hi there, just got back after a month in UK. Now I've got to really get going as I have some men from uk coming over to put a new roof on & do the electrics for me. I have found it impossible to get anyone from here to even give me a quote let alone do any work! It seems that women "do house," not build houses so I can't get anyone to take me seriously unfortunately. I would be very interested in how you get on. What part of Spain are you in? Jacki
