I would recommend my online shop but I think I'd break the rules to say. Slightly biased, but I think on line shopping has allowed the people from non-cone
urbations an opportunity to get what they crave without having to travel. I know I love a bit of high street shopping, but I grew up in Shrewsbury, so even though I wanted Shelley shoes they were always 3 hours by train away, now they are a couple of clicks.

Online shopping is addictive! I can spend hours bidding for great stuff on Ebay. And I agree with pelham0028 - it's so convenient when you're living in the countryside.

Anyway, I love www.princessa.co.uk (great for pressies and not too expensive) and www.net-a-porter.com (for splurging)

Online shopping is great but I prefer the streets for shopping. I get exercise by walking for 3-4 hours. Online is great but if u don't stop and get 2 addictive 1. you'll get fat 2. sitting in front of the computer all day isn't good for you. I like looking for running stuff and bikes though.

Hi new to UKStyle boards but am I allowed to post my own site here? It is related to home style (soft furnishings) and offers fantastic ranges not found on the high street or for that matter online.

cheers

I also know of a good online shop, it's called www.readitswapit.co.uk, i've actually just posted about it in reply to a money-saving post somewhere else on here.

Basically it's a free book exchange where you can swap books you don't want for books you do.

You'll never run out of new books to read - or have to spend another penny on books - it's great.

really recommend it.

We offer quality hand crafted luxury & classic Indian bedspreads, quilts, throws, stoles & shawls & scarves, paintings, and more on our website - [link]

In defiance of mass-produced blandness we offer hand-crafted textiles that are treasures to be loved and appreciated and unlike any to be found either on the high street or online in the UK.

Just clicked on some of the links above and www.acrylicize.com are great I loved the concept, but I also think that another site that's been around for ages blankwalls.co.uk have the most unique images that you can't get anywhere else I've purchased 3 canvases from them which are all stunning. They have been around for about 5 years now and the service is fab... not sure if I can put the full link... my other Fav site is boden.co.uk the kids clothes are brilliant!!

As the World Cup is slowly approaching I fell upon this website www.emotif.uk.com. It's great for patriotic fashion. I especially like the black shattered Union Jack. I think this website is fab - a definite alternative to football shirts. Check it out.
