Hi there Amanda I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for as it's not a story but could tell a story of WW1.I have an autograph book which once belonged to a pioneer Dr Surgeon Thomas L Crooke born 1861 Mar 04,born Sheffield UK and matriculated Edinburgh University 1882,arrived NZ 1899-1943( book long story)and in are names of Masters of ships that were the troop carriers to WW1 and the collectors after. Some military names have arisen whom were all in WW1 and some were at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. One in Particular was A W Robin (Alfred William)The Dr's sister was a pioneer Pharmacist during WW1 and has a sad ending in WW2..... If you'd like to contact me please E mail thanks MrDuffyNZ
