I cannot believe that Dallas has been taken off air just like that - no notice, nothing! I have 3 kids under the age of 2.5 years so watching TV during the day is impossible, so I recently bought Sky+ just to record Dallas. First I thought its been taken off due to half term holidays, but having checked the TV listings on UKtvGold I can only find a repeat on Sunday 21st Oct @ 7.15am. How can UKGold just remove this without any warning then no reply at all as to when it will be back. DISGUSTING !!!!

Bring back Dallas! Stop treating your viewer with such distain. We all want it back ,.....and from where it left off....not like last time when you took it off air for a couple of weeks claiming a summer break and then resumed with lots of back episodes. WE WANT IT BACK - it is the best thing on TV!

I've been watching Dallas on UK gold for months now. This is the third time that I've sit down to watch the taped recordings on my VBox only to discover that it isn't there. I'm all excited as I was planning on watching three episodes as it's so juicy at the moment and IT'S NOT THERE.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT UK GOLD HAS TAKEN IT OFF AIR WITH NO WARNING. I'M LIVID. When is it going to come back. Where can I register to get notification when it will return again. I'm so mad. HELP

Having re-instated Dallas daytime in September - now they've axed it again.What's going on UKTV, you can't leave us all like this.BRING BACK DALLAS!! (Then when you email UKTV you get no response & then when I try to send this to the message board I get error messages.)

Following on from my previous post I think we should all contact POINTS OF VIEW about Dallas disappearing mid-seasons as it's hosted by Terry Wogan and the more of us who contact the programme, the better chance there will be of a BBC channel rebroadcasting it all (as it was on BBC1 originally). I think this would be a very good idea as it now seems UK TV Gold are not going to continue showing it.

Bring it back! i am stuck at home looking after two children. This was the best thing on tv! even my 6 year old was hooked.

I am just insensed that Dallas has been axed, why bother to show it in the first place, only to get an audience hooked and then pull the plug. I have been a huge Dallas fan for years and have actually been on the ranch used in the filming. They manage to re-run to death Dr Who.

UK Tv cant think much of their audience. If anyone out there know what string to pull to help get it back you have my support..!! That cuppa at 5pm just itsnt the same..!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's been so upset by Dallas being given the bullet by TV bosses. I've been watching the re-runs with my missus every evening since they aired in April, and we've both gutted. I feel a bit like when Miss Ellie told Jock she and the DOA (Daughter of the Alamo) were behind the campaign to stop the Takapa lake development, and Jock bellowed at her " I AM TAKAPA !!". I think the only way UK Gold would listen would be if Justin Lee Collins did another of his 'Bring back Dallas' programmes. Right I'm off to the Cattleman's for a stiff bourbon.

Hi there, newbie here. All I can say is OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I've just realised tonight that there will be no more Dallas and I'm gutted. But I have to tell you, I got a special "warmth" reading the comments posted previous to this one. How can a legend of a programme like Dallas be dropped without warning?? A few series then zilch. This is not just cruel, it's positive TORTURE!!! All you guys posting..a big clap on the back for you!! And UK Gold....all I can say is SHAME ON YOU AND GET IT SORTED!!!!!!!!!

Ha Ha UKTV Gold. I have just purchased series 6 & 7 Dallas Box Sets (from Amazon) to watch when I please. (Series 8 out February 08') Oooh it will be such fun and I do not have to wait 24hrs on cliff hangers. I suggest you all do the same!!

What a big bunch of idiots the managment of UKTV Gold are! If they had any foresight they would have seen that only partially buying the Dallas series would cause such an outcry from their customers!!!.

UK Gold you seriously need to get yourselves sorted. Upsetting your customers like this is doing more harm to your reputation than good.
The name UK Gold says it all its meant to show programmes that are like gold, classics. This is exactly what Dallas is!
