I just looked at the listing for the episode that's being shown on the 21st of October at 7.15am, and it's Goodbye Cliff Barnes - a repeat of the last episode of series 5.

Just spoke to UKTV on the phone. They only bought the rights up to season 5. They currently have no plans to buys anymore.

Can't believe it lol. Time to get season 6 and 7 on DVD.

Anyone know when season 8 onwards will be released what the deal with them being released?

they deleted my post, i've just checked the tv guide on sky and dallas is not being shown on saturday 21st oct. whats going on? no-one from uktv has e-mailed me back and now they are censoring our posts!!!! its not like it was rude or insulting, or anything along those lines.....i'm a mother for gods sake....i don't do rude or insulting! i just thought it would be nice to help other dallas fans get a fix of JR's dastardly doings!

I still cannot believe the amateur behaviour of TV gold how they expect improvement in ratings when they go on like this.

If they said to you on the phone that they only bought up to seaso 5 they are ltelling porkies,they stated on this website they were going to show up to the shower bit.

with all respect to you jr's hat, (great name by the way...) it seems patently clear they do not know what they are doing in that organisation. They could not organise a good xxxx-up in a brewery if you ask me. Nothing they say can actually be relied upon, that is when they have the backbone to be honest and say something at all...! I don't mean to be sounding nasty, it's not really my nature but when organisations like this get my back up I can't help venting off.... we are minnows to them and typically they really couldn't care how we are feeling about it.

I agree with everthing you say chippy7 and if they dont make a statement about the situation i'm going to vote with my wallet and cancel my subscription,i suggest others do the same as hurting them in the pocket is the only thing they understand.

Hi all - sorry I haven't replied to your queries for a while. Unfortunately we only had up to Season 4 of Dallas and have no new episodes to show at the moment. Currently the channel has no plans to show any new Dallas episodes this year. That's probably not the answer you were hoping to hear but rest assured I will pass on all your feedback to the channel about the show.

Ok so only purchased up to Season 4. However you knew on Friday............well lets be honest you knew weeks ago that Season 4 would run out on Friday. So where is the decent honest communication that your viewers deserve? You must have informed the advertisers that a change of programming would be happening around their adverts so why could you not inform the viewers? You say you have no plans to show any new episodes this year but have you already purchased season 5? Will this be shown next year? Or do you not have any seasons on the backburner?

so all you can offer us are re-runs of dr who? what about knots landing or dynasty? something along the dallas lines would be nice

I loved Dallas when it first aired but only ever saw from series 6, it was great being able to watch it from the start

That is the most rediculous thing I read about your Dallas run, how can you only run up to season 4. I'm sure amazon will be happy about this, tell you what why doesn't ITV just air the first half of the world cup final on saturday......I can't whatch this channel anymore, I feel really let down. If you had said at the beggining of last week that friday was the last one I would defanately had a better feeling about UKtv Gold.

opened up my email this morning to be bombarded with notifications of updates on the site and guessed straight away trouble was brewing yet again - just like in the summer - and i tune into uk gold at midday to discover DRWHO! - so after spending the last 20 minutes catching up on the messages of anger from fellow dallas fans - i think the ONLY way forward is to follow the line that SMILEY suggested - the episodes were sponsored by SHEILAS WHEELS - so lets get bombarding SHEILAS WHEELS publicity department with our feelings - maybe they have some clout? obviously the organ grinder doesnt care so lets go to the monkey - and i mean that in the nicest possible way! meantime my xmas list is now dvds of DALLAS DALLAS DALLAS and i just hope that eventually ALL the series that were made will be released. Even my 15 year old son was hooked !
