Sorry! with Ronnie Corbett

Thread Starter: Tigertots    Started: Mon 01 Sep 2008    Replies: 4

Last week I saw the BBC's Comedy Connections programme about Sorry! I confess I had forgotten how good that sitcom was, but it reminded me, and made me think I would like to see it again. I was therefore pleased to see some episodes on UKGold; only to be disappointed that it is ousted from its slot by One Foot in the Grave this week (according to Radio Times, at least). I hope Sorry may be making a reappearance soon? May I suggest that it would be great to have it later in the evening at a convenient time, perhaps 8 or 9pm?

Is this the right place to make a request, or should I be using the "Contact us" option?

Yes you can get too much of a good thing...I've been telling Mrs Gaslight Ghoul that for years! Big Grin

Really? Don't they own every episode of the 7 series? That's a shame. I believe this coming weekend is going to be nearly entirely devoted to Only Fools & Horses; now, that programme is quite funny, but it gets aired frequently enough anyway, on UKGold AND the the BBC! Why can't they have a whole weekend of Sorry instead, that would be more of a treat! Or even another comedy that has been neglected for years, such as Metal Mickey. Re Only Fools & Horses, you CAN get too much of a good thing. Roll Eyes

Mr Ghoul speaks wise words, you won't get an answer either way. Sorry will be back but it will be the same few episodes that have just been on and they will be shown over and over until you think you're in Groundhog Day!

You can use either..it doesn't matter. have a look at the other threads and you will see that very few replies are forthcoming. We have people here asking questions about Dallas, The Bill, Eastenders, My family ( its true)...and sadly no one takes the time to answer them. I would be happy to do so on behalf of UK Gold if they were willing to give me a channel to direct comments! Over to you UK Gold!!
