I think I will admit defeat and buy the boxed set of Dallas as I am fed up being held to Ransom by Gold who never have the decency to advise their viewers what is going on. And its not just Dallas. What a way to run at TV Network they will never keep loyal viewers this way. And they missed an episode of Dancing with the Stars when swapping over to WATCH. Fed Up!!!

I can only assume it's money talking. They proably buy the rights to show a dozen or so episodes of a programme like Dallas, Casualty, Holby, etc., etc.

So they flog it to death, show the same ones again and again and again. Wish they would explain things a bit better, mind.

ok jan 2008, no sign of dallas coming back to our screens. We want answers.
No we demand answers. Im on the brink of suicide, and do uk gold give us some idea when dallas is coming back. No they take our loyalty for granted.
Why cant uk gold make a statement in the newspapers or tv advert giving us explanations. They could get jR or bobby to appear in a tv advert explaning the situation.

Have just logged on to the messageboard for the first time and am so chuffed that I am not alone in missing Dallas. I think it is appalling the way it was cancelled with no explanation and that no one "official " has responded to the posts.

I feel my life has no meaning at the moment. How could uk gold stop showing dallas. Whats going on. Its not good enough. I think the government should intervene. I dont feel like celebrating xmas at the moment, im too depressed.

Dallas appears to have started from the beginning again - albeit that it is on all times of the nites and day - thank god for sky plus.

you can buy dallas from hmv or any other big named dvd stalls but u realy shouldnt have to u pay for the dvds this channel should show the full run they r not doing there jobs properly

I haven't watched UKTV Gold since they stopped showing Dallas. I'm quite disgusted that they haven't even had the courtesy to reply to anyone's e-mails (including my own!) I bought series 6. And i've treated myself to series 7 for my Christmas. Series 8 is released on my birthday in February, so guess what i'll be getting. I wouldn't have had to buy them if UKTV Gold hadn't got me hooked in the first place!

Why is nobody responding to these emails?

Dallas goes backwards and forwards and is on at all strange times of night.

Can anybody shed any light on it.

Can you please please please let us know what is going on ? U can't just drop it without a word ! Can't understand how a professional tv station can operate like this ! UK TV Gold sucks !
