I have complained about this channel time and time again but to no avail.
But some of the people on the message board make me laugh, one minute there's a complaint about UKTVGold not being aptly named then all of a sudden there are complaints about taking the likes of Dallas off.
And also people asking for Prison Break.
Do you want UKTVGold or USTVGold. You can't have it both ways.

The thing about Cell Block H, Sons and Daughters and Flying Doctors is that even though they are Aussie soaps they have already had an audience on UK television - they are tried, trusted and old therefore gold. This is also true with Dallas etc. This Christine thing is new, not gold, although I cannot comment further because I have not watched it nor do I intend to. The ad's have shown me enough!

Hi all - just to confirm, Dallas and The Bill are taking a break for August while we showcase some classic comedy during the day. Both shows will be back in September.

Hey good news.
Dallas will be returning at it's usual slot from September onwards.
The change was to coincide with the school holidays apparently.

Callie, you are right there. But are UK TV listening. It seems a waste of time to have this message board if they do not even listen to viewers who basically give them a job, at the end of the day.

Have I missed something here??? These are aussie soaps. Its not AUSTV Gold either.??? So please do not contradict what you yourself have quoted.
The fact is we all like different programmes, from different countries, you like your Sullivans and I like Dallas. There is room for them both. The main part of the name UK TV Gold is the "Gold" part meaning programmes that were classic and popular from years gone by.
So please, as I and others pay for the priviledge to view UK GOLD then maybe we should have it both ways.
