Neighbours

Now, I may be alone on this one, but over the last few YEARS I have been catching up on Neighbours. Roll Eyes It used to be on once, every morning on UKTV Gold+1 at 7 until 7.30, which was ideal. I would watch it while eating breakfast and remember the good old days. About 2 years ago this was increased to two episodes from 6.30 until 7.30, again, got used to this and watched every weekday morning.

But then, someone in their wisdom decided to swap the times around, put short programmes in the middle and basically mess around with the schedule at this time of day, and for what??? I now find for a couple of days this week that we've increased to 3 episodes on a morning and even two on Saturday! I know its only Neighbours, and the early morning schedule, but if you're watching it regularly its a pain that the times keep changing and there's no warning. You miss episodes and wonder what happened and where you were. If the voice over at the beginning of the programme SAID that the schedule would change tomorrow, I'd at least have a chance of watching! Roll Eyes

Please leave the schedule alone and put the two episodes of Neighbours back together again!!

I think Neighbours should be put on later in the day, its current schedule is too early.

Thank you UKTV Gold! Much appreciated the old format. No more "depression enders" in between.

Ah, I thought I was the only one - thught I was going crazy, or that my dad had deleted episodes from SkyPlus

You see I don't have the energy to get up at those hours each morning to watch Neighbours, so I used my wondrous SkyPlus to put neighbours on series record, this ensures that every episode in the series on UKgold will be recorded so i can watch after work. Anyway, I have noticed that ocassionally I appear to have missed a very important episode, like a couple of weeks ago, Karl tells Izzy that Gus is psycho, and that episode ends on a cliffhanger. The next episode I see, and Gus has disappeared, they're changing the locks, and everyone knows he's a psycho - I've clearly missed something here!

don't muck things up ukgold - 1 episode can make all the difference! God and i happent o know about a certain season finale which I missed the last time round which I REALLY don't wanna get lost in all the mucked up timetabling!

so hey who watched today's episode? Flipping heck eh? I love Sindi so much, and never appreciated her enough first time around, OMG my heart stopped when Toadie didn't remember her and though she was Dee - I can't remember what happens next but I dread to think how it's all gonna pan out!

Right back to this - yea what's the logic in putting Eastenders in the middle? i didn't think it would effect me, but today I discovered that I am missing 1 of Friday's episodes, because SkyPlus recorded the same 1 twice - aah!! This wouldn't happen with any other channel!

Oh no, you are not alone!

I too have been watching 5.30-6.30 am daily for the last couple of years. Quite honestly it's bad enough having to get up that early every day, I put the TV on for a bit of company really and I don't want anything heavy going or doom and gloom - Neighbours suits perfectly.

The downside of course is the addicition to storylines. I often see an episode and think I have missed something - from what you say, there must be an episode thown in the schedule somewhere that I miss completely.

This week though is just too much - EastEnders bang in the middle of two episodes of Neighbours? If I wanted to get depressed I'd just watch the News.

I have sent in a complaint already, and maybe someone takes note of the messages on these boards so here goes.

PLEASE KEEP THE TWO EPISODES OF NEIGHBOURS TOGETHER AT 5.35AM.

Thanks you very much.
