What on earth is going on with the bill and its episode run?????????
I can not understand why UKTV have been showing the bills series in random order, just as i'm getting back on track with it all they decide to return to the beginning. Some of which i have seen countless times. This is getting a bit silly now, please please please run the series in order starting from what was being shown at the end of last week.

I personally think it's being shown out of sequence because if you've noticed when they're advertising it they state that there is guest TV personallity in it every day eg: a singer, a soap star, a comedian etc, so if it was shown in order this would'nt happen.
But then again they never seem to show any programme in sequence which is annoying.
Hopefully if Gold is changing it might go back to how it used to be and the powers that be might actually listen to us and take note of these message boards, or at least have the decency to apply to some of our questions as we take the trouble type them and log on the their web site.

Callie you think right. What I and others have a problem with is that these exact episodes were broadcast just this past summer, a few weeks ago. Why do we have to have them again so soon?

Hi have to agree garrfy and with some of you that watch older episodes of the bill this has happened twice now we were approximately a year behind Itv episodes then it goes back to ancient using the excuse of showing other stars who cares about old episodes is there some problem with the license agreement with ITV or who in Sky comes up with these ideas that they think we the viewers are idiots I can say this without any recourse as I agree also no reply will be forthcoming. If you do manage to reply just give me a date that Season Num: 22 First Aired: Wednesday December 6, 2006 will be re shown so I along with many other viewers can get some continuity

I do agree it's frustrating having THE BILL stop until the new year and in the meantime have selected episodes on TV personalities, etc. but I think it's because it was getting a bit too recent and was in danger of catching up completely with the new ITV episodes! Whilst on the subject does anyone know what the backing music is which is on the current trailer for episodes with soap stars, comedians, etc.? I think it's a seventies track but it's really bugging me I can't think what it is!

The Bill is no longer broadcast from December 10th so there's nothing left for me to watch. I've seen the sitcoms so often I almost know them word for word and the American rubbish is just that - rubbish, except Dallas but that's ended too.
I'm beginning to think the rumour is correct that UKTV Gold is vanishing on December 31st.

At the end of the day UKTV GOLD (thats right GOLD) should not be showing episodes from ITV showed in the last 5 years never mind the last 1 year.
The only episodes shown should be the ones most fans want to see which is the older episodes from when the show was at its best.
Why would most fans want to watch episodes they have only just seen on ITV?? I appreciate that some fans may have missed some episodes but thats not our fault.
UK Gold needs to go back to basics with its station and do what it did best when it 1st began, and thats show classic episodes of shows not recent ones. It needs to stop showing stuff like prison break and recent episodes of eastenders and go back to its routes. Show classic episodes off The Bill from the early 90s onwards, same with the likes of casualty.
Theres a reason why so many people no longer watch the channel, and my guess would be because its not showing the viewers what they want.
