Hi there,

Can you please show Knots Landing in the near future, as it was such a great show and it has been so long since it was last shown. I loved all the storylines like Val's twins being kidnapped, Abby's dirty-dealings and so much more! I'm sure it would do really well in the ratings if shown again!

I read somewhere on the Message Boards that after the last run in 1999-2001 KL didn't do that well in the ratings so they decided not to show it again. I think it should be brought back but I don't hold out much hope. The Americans have a soap channel which constantly shows Dallas, Falcon Crest, Dynasty etc. Why can't we have something like that in this country?????

Knots Landing did not rate well when it was last shown on Gold back in 2000/2001. American acquisitions like Dallas, Dynasty and KL tend to be very expensive to purchase and, whilst some fresh content is always welcome, we find that a larage number of viewers don't stick with these shows past the first couple of episodes.

I thought Knots Landing was really popular for you back in 2000 (can't believe thats been 6 years ago now!)

If these shows are so expensive, and get such low ratings - then why have they been shown many times in the 90's etc - when UK Gold also had less of an audience back then.

Please can you consider showing it in the future. With it being so long since they were last shown - Dallas and Knots Landing - I'm sure it may atrract attention. Also, with the success of Dallas bcoming out on DVD, and soon Knots Landing too. Also, the new Dallas movie and just the general cult status of these shows.

From March 2006 You will be able to buy the first season on DVD in america.

I loved Knots Landing and would love to see it back on our screens. (That is as long as you show the whole thing from start to finish and don't take it off air part way through like Ch5 have done with Sunset Beach and Sky did with all of its US soaps).

I completely agree. There are soooo many people who want to see KL back on our the screens again. I can't believe that there wouldn't be enough viewers after so long off air. It would mke a refreshing change to see something "new" in the programming instead of the same schedules day after day. What about early am or late night if not primetime - fans would still tune in!!

Knots landing is rubbish yet another outdated soap to bore us and bring down viewing figures
