I heard that UKTV Gold is closing down at the end of this year is this why the programming has been so erratic over the past few months?

It's volume is normal for the commercials. The programmes are so quiet you have to turn the volume up so far you get blasted when the commercials come on. I would speculate this is another ploy to kill the channel but it's been like this for several years now!

PLEASE UKTVGold go back to being a wonderful channel and stop messing about ... please ...

And it looks like you're showing the same erratic episodes that were shown just this summer ... WHY?

PLEASE show The Bill in sequence from the 1990s. Why is this not possible? If it is possible ... why do you mess about with it? Somebody at UKTVGold is getting a thrill out of ruining the channel.

Is there any chance that UKTV Gold might resume Holby City from where they broke off? PLEASE say yes.

Why is New Tricks being advertised in many commercial breaks on UKTV Gold as "Starting on Monday at 7pm" when all the listings, including UKTV Golds own listings, say it's on at 10am and 8pm ... starting Monday?

I'm not sure UKTV Gold schedulers know what's being broadcast on their own channel!

OK, I grant you that the listings on this site say New Tricks but on all the other listings sites they have changed it from New Tricks back to Holby City after one week off, missing out those five episodes. New Tricks is rescheduled to 9 PM through September then moves to UKTV Drama until November 1st.

Holby City has the 10 AM slot on UKTV Gold through to the end of September, I don't have listings for HC after that but hope it will continue.

As yet there is no sign of Casualty returning other than the current BBC1 episodes s resuming this Saturday and Sunday.

Babydoll =D and Minnesota = PLEASE READ what I wrote to start this thread ..."I'm grateful that it is returning on the 17th after a week off but WHY have the 5 episodes that would have been broadcast during that week off been omitted? WHY give us 5 episodes then miss out 5 episodes then carry on?"

To repeat - Holby City is on UKTV Golg this week 3-7 September
New Tricks is on next week 10 - 14 Septembet.
Holby City returns the following week 17 September and is on each week day at 10 am throughout September.

During the week that New Tricks is on the five Holby City episodes that would have been shown then are gone.

It resumes having mised out 5 episodes. THAT IS WHAT I AM MOANING ABOUT = the missing episodes!!

I'm grateful that it is returning on the 17th after a week off but WHY have the 5 episodes that would have been broadcast during that week off been omitted? WHY give us 5 episodes then miss out 5 episodes then carry on? Are UKTV Gold seriously trying to antagonise their viewers or does whoever does the schedules the series think this is funny?

I have phoned them on several occasions but they have an automatic answermachine message telling me to leave my name and phone number and they will phone back ... the never do! The person who knows about the scheduling but never phones back is John Lemon, Channel Assistant.

It wasn't a typing error! Why, WHy, WHY are we getting 5, FIVE, episodes of Holby City then it vanishes again to be replaced by a daily dose of New Tricks which has already been given to us repeatedly?

I doubt I'll get an answer as UKTV seem to enjoy ignoring viewers. But in case somebody does read this ... I am ANGRY Angry Angry Angry

Looking at the UKTV Gold listings for September Holby City is only on for the first week then on September 10 it is replaced by New Tricks at 10am. WHY?

I'm hoping this is a typing error as I can see no point in taking HC off then bringing it back for just one week then taking it of again ...

You don't need to reply.

I see Holby City is returning on September 3 and will be beginning with Endgame where it left off so I'm happy!

Thank you.
