Hi everybody, has anybody any ideas, what colours I can use when my Kitchen walls are all nicely plastered. I quite fancy a Pale Lemon, (Yes that,s right) on the walls, But do not Know what colour to use for the flooring(probably carpet), as I have a Quite large kitchen/ Dining Area, and accessories. My units are all white, so no problems there. All suggestions greatfully received. thanks Pat.

Pale lemon walls sounds good, but with white units maybe a darker colour is called for on the floor. How about a nice terracotta kind of colour? which would give it a warmer feel.

Sounds really nice, I would use a lilac rubber floor, would go well with the pale lemon.

Hi there! The contrasting colour for yellow - or pale lemon in your case - is blue, so any colour/shade in the blue - purple zone will complement your pale walls well. Have you thought about a wooden floor too? Against your paler walls and cabinets it would add a warm feel. Smile

Thanks everybody, It seems the favourite is lilac. Not a colour I would have picked, but I might give it a go,maybe laying a few carpet tiles, just to see what it looks like first.Pat. Wink

I think a mid bright green would look good,it is usually a good contrast to yellow
