Hi, has anyone tried using the magnetic paint that is mentioned in one of the articles on this site?

I know the 'paint' is just a primer that contains lots of iron dust but am having problems finding stockists. I've found a couple of suppliers on the internet but just wondered if anyone had found it stocked in a nationwide shop?

I only saw the product mentioned on here yesterday and then Linda Barker used it on TV today!

Kidicraft have a special on magnetic paint at the moment - it's just under 20 for a 0.5l tin. Not sure about its availability in the shops though...

Yeah, I'd already seen that on the internet but would prefer to get it in a shop if possible as the postage & packing boosts the price and I'd like to be able to read what it says on the can before buying.

If you know anyone with a studio cards book have a look. i got a brochure through this morning and there is some metallic paint in there (12 i think), you can also paint over it with any colour you want.

hi b and q sell both the magnetic paint and the blackboard paint my friend has used both in her daughters bedroom on the wall and both work great the magnetic paint did need 2 coats thought to work best hope this helps luv lisa

I don't know if this message is still relevant being nearly a year old but anyway here goes.

Homebase stock magnetic paint £4.99 or £8.99 a tub/pot. It sounds very interesting.

I've bought some glitter paint to decorate my son's bedroom. I'll be using it on Saturday when the undercoat colour has dried - I'll let you know how it went Tracey :D
