can anyone tell me where i can get the bulbs of crocus sativus, which i think is the saffron crocus?
and are all pumpkin, sunflower and poppy seeds edible?

The saffron crocus should be easy to get hold of, most bulbs sellers and even garden centres should sell it. I bought some from the Parkers wholesale catalogue last year.

one of the problems with it is it can be difficult to get it to flower again the second year.

thanks kathy, i havn't found Parkers yet, but found Avon Bulbs who do crocus sativus and actually state grown for stamens.
don't suppose you know which kind of poppy, pumpkin and sunflower i would need to grow to obtain the edible seeds?
