Hi Can anyone help?
1. My 'bed' is 2 mattresses in a wooden box- total width is 210cm and length 220. I usually buy my bedding from the US- in that I have a fitted bottom sheet (but 2 single duvets with their own covers.) I need some more bedding and a trip to the US is not in the offing for a long while. Does anyone know of UK internet sites that make bedding to fit my bed. I've done many a Google and Kelkoo search but Superking size advertised on many of the sites is too small OR size details are not given.

Also would like high thread count Egyptian cotton if possible BUT the sites I've found which will do bespoke sell by the square inch and it makes the sheet over £150 for plain white. This is a little too much. I was wondering if there were other places.

2. Because of the uneveness of the 2 Duvets (-my husband likes a different tog and therefore volume to me) Bed NEVER looks tidy. I thought I might purchase a bed spread to throw over and make it look more uniform- but I am meeting the same problem. Bedspreads are advertised as SuperKing or are one size. They dangle a good 30 cm of the floor each side and look ridiculous. I am prepared to make my own but cannot find any local stores where they sell suitable fabric- ideally something sumptious and with a sheen. Straight satin is totally unsuitable even if I line it and widths seem to be standard curtain width which is not wide enough. IS this all I'm destined to find?

You could try the Dorma website - their fabric by the metre is in 280cm width, which would be enough to cover the bed with a single width provided u then add a deep edge for the throw. If you are quick you might catch their sale this weekend, ends 1st May: some ranges are 70% off.
For sheeting you could try ebay, or if you don't mind the sheets being a couple of inches too big all round try victorialinen.co.uk for the egyptian cotton at £76. This was the first site I looked at so there may be others doing outsize sheets, and I haven't bought from them myself -being a strictly Dorma girl. Good luck! Patricia
