Has anyone got any idea's about what to do with the hundreds of unwanted cd's that come in the post. Is seems a shame just to dump them. I'm always waiting for Anna or Carol to come up with something, but so far zilch. Dee

Hi Dee!
I have used our freebie CD's as wall deco', they are stuck on with PVA glue, shiny side up, and snake out from behind the kids PC.
I still have a load left, so am going to cover the cupboard door in the study with them, it's opposite the window so it will reflect light beautifully>

Hi there Deeman. If you have a look in the Get Crafty thread, there are quite a few ideas posted in there about what different people have done with their unwanted/failed c.d's. I made clocks out of some and a mobile. Jill Smile

Good Morning Smile
Just remembered this shop in Camden Market called Cyber Dog. It's a funky/weird clothes shop, they have put cd's on the floor and sealed over them. It looks great but reminds me of 'girls must not wear patten leather shoes at school'
:D

Thank you all for your idea's. I'm going to try them. Where do you get the clock parts from jillmayor? I would really like to do some of those for my kids. Dee

Deeman. When I'm "on a mission", I just check out the cheapest places I can find. Living near to the seaside I scour all the nick nack shops and usually find what I find to make what I want. Last yer I found alarm clocks for 60p. I bought a dozen and my son took al the internal workings out for me. These were easily resused to make my cd clocks. I imagine that the clockwork bits and pieces would be available in model shops too. Happy hunting Smile Jill x

I can remember that one of the houses at the ideal home exhibition had a whole bedroom wall covered in CD's, it looked fantastic.
