does anyone else think that gardens unplugged is absolutely fabulous????

Those 2 blokes are great! the dark one is a star! :D

I think it's brilliant and so refreshing to have a gardening prog. for the people like me with a "small" bordering on "tiny" garden. I can't have vast expanses of decking and ton loads of gravel or indeed 20,000 worth of steel tiles!!!

I've yet to watch an episode where i wasn't impressed-they may not look like flamboyant designers but i think they know their stuff.

there- got that off my chest!!
anyone else like them?

yes, I thought it was fantastic...My garden is about four centimeters long and about six centimeters wide, so some good (at last) practical ideas for those with limited time and limited space.

What tips are you going to use?

Yes, I like them as they know what they are talking about... they dont fight the conditions but put things in which should thrive... plus the makeovers they do are realistic... so more power to them...

Glad to see they are showing the only decent gardening programme on the TV, Gardens Unplugged on the new channel UK Bright Ideas. I hope they show the very first series as I have never seen any of those. The makeovers they do would be easy for ordinary people like myself and I hope they do a new series this year. They come across as friendly decent people not big headed like a lot of these TV gardeners.

I have to agree that they seem to know what they are doing and also are easy on the eyes as well.

We should soon be inundated with new gardening series soon - a new ground force (without Alan), new How to be a Gardener (with Alan) and new series of Gardeners World (with Monty Don and no Alan) - all on the beeb in the next few weeks

I would love to see another new series of Gardens Unplugged, Simon and Ryan are real stars. I'd like to talk gardens with them in the pub over a pint or five!

Its a pity that Simon and Ryan couldnt have taken over from Alan Titchmarsh on Ground Force but I dont think that sort of large scale gardening would be to their liking. I think they like to try and help the majority of us who maybe dont have large gardens or large bank accounts! Lets hope they give them a new series this year and maybe a longer running one.

If you havent already visited it you could go to the Mad Mac Productions website and see a little more of Simon and Ryan. They dont give much info about them but its worth a visit from us true Simon and Ryan fans! Even my 6 year old son enjoys Gardens Unplugged and painted a picture of them which I sent to UK Style who said they would forward it onto them.

Does anybody know how old Simon and Ryan might be? I think they might be in their late 30's. (I apologise if they're younger in case they might be looking in!!!) I'm 37 so I'm hoping they're about my age.
