Aw Maggie, I know what you mean, babes :( . Housework is a nightmare.Such a thankless task. On my day off (must have been a man to call it a day OFF:eek
I try to conquer the world on my own..........The bathroom, kitchen, living/dining room, 3 bedrooms....Then there's my mother's washing and ironing (and mine) her shopping and usual appointments for either doctor, dentist, hairdresser, optician and audiologist. Back to prepare a meal for the big white hunter who's done a 12 hour day shift in a noisy factory (and will complain if I give him chicken "again"
) Then there's the usual taxi service ferrying sons one and two to different parts of the universe at the same time - then to pick them up and maybe take the odd friend home who they've picked up along the way "Mum will take you home..she won't mind"
Then home to "what's for supper?"...my look says it all............ Son no. 1 dared to complain that there were no socks in his drawer...."Look in the airing cupboard" I growled. "Didn't think of that" says the dopey 16 year old. When asking him how he thought the socks got off the bedroom floor into the washing basket, then from there into the washing machine onto the line, them mysteriously back into his drawer..he replies " I thought there was a sock fairy..". Well I must go, as it's my "Day Off" :D . Hysteria is setting in already. Son's 1 and 2 have made their own breakfast, husband is still sleeping (well he's on 12 hour nights tonight)Soon son No. 2 will be off for the day on his bike and appear later on this evening "starving". Son No. 1 is apparently doing homework all day........Must go before it's bedtime!!!! Have a lovely day :D
I love them all really
