Good morning Angie, hope you are well and had a lovely easter. We have been busy this week as Mark is on holiday. We have had a few nice days out here and there and like you I am squaring up the garden. I had a lot of empty pots too but have bought some plants to fill them up plus I can use my marigolds too. I have done some outside painting too but when your busy doing something you enjoy the time just flies!
We had a nice morning out in Wisbech yesterday and visited the museum there. They have loads of stuff from a local shop whe it shut down years ago you know, advertising boards, old boxes, tins, samples for the counter etc..... A really nice museum to visit. We also went to a few fish places and a really old church in a place called Walpole St Peter that has been visited by royalty over the years when they have been at Sandringham and they have their signatures on display. One was Queen Mary. I actually like to read old graffitii. There were some on the outside of the church from the 1800's. They were just as bad as some people of today! There is a lot of old graffitii in Dover Castle.
Your cat certainly seems to be taking her time! It cant be much longer now. Will she have them at night? I know when my rabbits had theirs that was during the night which is a thing they do I think. What a lovely surprise you will have one morning!
Is your mum enjoying herself at yours? It must be nice when you come home from work and she is there. My dad goes to the hospital today but he isnt very well again, I dont know what they will say today. I'm hoping that he may just be down in his own mind if you know what I mean.
Mark has just gone to take his car for an MOT. He has an old 1960 Morris Minor but he is quite confiident it will pass. By the way that isnt our regular car (I dont actually like it!) we have a Proton, which has been a star of a car, but the Morris is his little hobby!
Well, we have another action packed day today! I bought some walk leaflets yesterday for some local walks for families, so Robert will manage them. There is one in a place near here called March and it tells you what to look out for, widlife and fauna etc....We might do that if the weather stays nice.
Take care, enjoy the rest of the week. how is work at the moment? Speak to you soon, hope you have good news on the kittens.

Good morning Gill, lovely to hear from you.
About our dodgy left hips, do you know mine has been killing me everynight. Its driving me mad. Every morning about 3 am it starts, well a cross I have to bear I suppose! Interesting about what the Americans call it. Oh well, I could have a lot worse.
Well , this weekend we are having Marks brother and his family over for dinner on Sunday. I am cooking a turkey. Trouble is they eat us out of house and home! At least nothing is left!
On Monday my parents are coming over and we are all going to that Lancaster aeroplane museum we visit. The weather talks of cooling down but if it doesnt rain then its not too bad.
Yesterday we went to Wicksteed park in Kettering with my friend and her 2 girls. We had a great time. I bought Robert a wristband and he went on loads of rides. We only live about an hours drive away. It was really hot so I put lots of sun tan lotion on myself and Robert. We also had a lovely picnic.
I hope your son has a lovely birthday next week. I bet he will love the sleepover it all sounds so exciting for him!
I hope you have a nice stay with your sister. Does she live far away from you?
Anyway, have a lovely Easter and I look forward to hearing from you very soon,
Take care

Good morning Angie and Linda. I would just like to wish you both a very happy Easter and that you both have a lovely time whatever you do.
I will try to be very careful with my Marigolds as you suggested Angie, I am bringing them in at night so do you think that when I start leaving them out at night I should wait until May? Like you say I should hate to lose them after all my careful nuturing!
Your cats certainly seem to be keeping you on your toes! They sound marvellous you are doing a good job.
We went to Wicksteed Park yesterday with my friend and her 2 girls. Have you ever heard of it?I bought Robert a wristband and he could go on as many rides as he wants. It was hot though but we had a lovely day and he was worn out. He's only just got up and its 10.30 am! Its in Kettering so its only about an hours drive away.
I hope you have a nice time with time with your mum. We have Marks brother coming over on Sunday for dinner with his family and then my parents are coming on Monday and we are going to the Lancaster aetroplane museum with them. Hope the weather holds but it talks of getting cooler.
Linda I hope you have a wonderful time over here with your daughter and family I bet you will have lots to talk about and do.
Angie and Linda once again have a lovely Easter and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Take care
Deborah
For Joel (
) he will hopefully need these if the weather stays nice!!

Good morning Booh and Jacqui, lovely to hear from you both. I hope you had a lovely time inFlorida Booh, I bet you have a nice tan! Let us know if you did anything really exciting.
Well, Jacqui, I think you are very much like me. Before I have visitors come I have to make sure that everything is just right and run around like a lunatic, I bet at this very minute you are tearing around! I hope you have lovely weekend with your sister and her family.
We have a gazebo, which like yours, takes up most of our garden, but it really is a godsend. Last summer we had some friends round for a barbecue and it got a bit chilly, so we have a portable gas fire which we stood in front of it (being very careful!) and it kept it nice and warm inside!
Nice to hear that Emily and Ben are keeping busy. Talking about career moves, when I left school I wanted to be in the police but ended up in Tesco ( which I really enjoyed). It certainly does go to show!
I managed to get some nice sandals for Robert from Shoezone for £4.99 and some trainers for Mark for £9.99. Like you say I couldnt justify myself spending loads of money on clothes etc... I couldnt afford it either, thank goodness for the bargain shops!!
Myself and Robert went to town on Tuesday and we went to the museum and they had an egg hunt on and some hands on for the kids. It was really good. My mum also gave me some money to buy Robert a playstation game instead of an egg for Easter. He bought a preowned Crash Bandicoot game (another bargain!) At least it will last longer than an egg.
Yesterday we went with my friend and her 2 girls, one is 6 and the other 4, to Wicksteed Park in nearby Kettering. It is a big adventure park. You an buy tiickets or a wristband for the kids, which I bought Robert but it did fidget his arm. They had a really great day, and it was very hot and we had a lovely picnic. Robert is still in bed and its 10 past 10, he must have been absolutely worn out!
Mark has tomorrow off but we shall stay in and gt some jobs done. Saturday my mum and dad come before they go to bingo and on Sunday Marks brother and his family are coming for dinner. Which reminds me I have to get the turkey out of the freezer! On Monday my parents are coming over and we are going to the Lancaster areoplane we often go to as my dad likes to go and me and Robert and my mum like to go on the tombola!
Next week we shall play by ear but I'm sure we shall find lots of thing to do. Like you say you can get away with lots of child things when you have kids! Its great fun having a family isnt it?
Your garden sounds like it is looking great. I have quite a few spring flowers out and I bought some plants last weekend but I am hardening them off at the moment. You never know when that frost will rear its ulgly head do you? I have planted some potatoes in a compost bag as seen on Gardeners World last week so hopefully in July I shall have some scrummy potatoes (my favourite food!)
Well, I must get on, lots to do. I hope that whatever you do over the Easter that you have a wonderful time and that you manage to have your barbecue. Take care, enjoy the sunshine and I look forward to hearing from you soon,
Deborah

Good morning Linda and Angie, on here early this morning whilst Robert is still snoring in bed! He likes his lie in when he's on school holiday.
Nice to hear from you Linda, those menus sound like a nightmare! Hope you got them all done. Looking forward to your holiday over here? I bet you cant wait. Lets hope the weather is a nice as it has been here this weekend. I know Dunelms has website so if you look there they might tell you if there is one near you when you come to London. I did have the bag with the website on it but I cant seem to find it but putting in Dunelms will find it wont it?
Matalan had quite a few bargains but I think you have to be there at the right time. Sometimes I go in there and unless your a size 8 or 10 I just cant seem to get my size which is a 16 so its the luck of the draw.
I just recieved an instant message from my friend and she has just told me that her car was broken into and a few days later after getting it sorted out a drunk driver ploughed into it damaging 2 other cars as well! What is it all coming to?
We shall see my parents next Saturday as usual when they go to bingo, incidentally I went to Bingo on Saturday and didnt win a sausage! Never mind!
Sunday we have Marks brother and his family over for dinner, I am going to cook a turkey. We shall probably go out somewhere on the Monday. What about you Angie, doing anything special for Easter?
Good job you were around to help that girl on the coach. Do you know why she had a panic attack? I presume its something she gets?
We had a nice day out yesterday. We went to Wisbech and had a walk round. We went to the museum but it wasnt opened but right next to the museum was a beautiful Georgian not square as it was round but I think you know what I mean. In the middle was a round garden area with the houses all around it. Robert was intruiged by the fact that the houses had cellars or basements and he could see that people had rooms down there.
We also went to Baytrees and bought some plants and Angie you will be pleased to know that I have planted my potatoes but I havent got a bin like you suggested but when I saw gardeners world last week Monty Don put his into a compost bag so I have done the same. What do you think? Will they be alright? You should see my Marigolds! They are like triffids!!! I am really pleased with them. Starting to harden them off now cant wait to see them in bloom.
Hope Joel is OK Linda and Sid too. Got lots of washing to do today and Robert wants to go and see his friend this afternoon. Hope you all have a nice day, take care, speak to you soon.
Robert is awake now so he will be ready for his Wheatabix! Sorry, no, he has just told me he wants cheese on toast!
A big
for Joel and a
for the cats Angie!
Bye for now

sorry about that, thats the second time I've done the wrong button this morning! As I was saying it will be nice and bright here in the conservatory but it will depend if I can pick up a bargain as to what sort of yellow. I do like my bargains! Yesterday I had a shopping spree in town. I went to Dunelm and got some curtains for Roberts room, fully lined and they were only £11.99. I bought some hand towels, 99p each, cushion covers for the living room £1.50 each and a king size quilt set for only £6.99! I was really chuffed! I then visited Shoe Zone and got some sandals and some trainers £9.99 each and then went to Matalan and got some trousers, a top and some trousers for Robert which were only £4 each! I came home on a high! To top all of that I got Robert a playstation game,Lego Racers, preowned, for only £4.99! He was really pleased!
Sorry to hear about the migraines Emily gets. I usually get headaches when its the time of the month and it really drags you down doesnt it? That sounds like a good job for Ben to be going into. I wish him good luck. What Robert will end up doing I dont know. He says he wants to be a car mechanic but as he's only 6, well who knows! He does seem to enjoy school which makes life easier for me. I always dreaded the thought of maybe dragging him to school but thankfully that never happened. After the coming holidays he may be a bit tearful when he goes back but nothing to worry about. He soon gets back into the swing of things.
It will be nice to spend some time with him over the holidays, we usually visit the museum and they have some good things on for the kids and Mark has the second week off so we shall have some nice days out, weather permitting! Are you looking forward to the holidays, but I suppose your two do their own thing now dont they? I bet it doesnt seem 5 minutes since they were small children? It doesnt seem 6 years since I had Robert, where does time go?
It was nice to see the people of Iraq looking so happy yesterday I hope life goes well for them all.
We have church this afternoon with the school for the Easter service so being as I am in school Thursday afternoons anyway I shall help walk them to school. It is only about a 5 minute walk away.
Well, I had better get on. I might do some spring cleaning now, I have some cupboards in the bedroom that need sorting out and cleaning although it doesnt feel very spring like does it!
Hope you and your family have a lovely weekend and that it gets a bit warmer for us all, speak to you soon, take care,

Good morning Jacqui, hope you are well. Lovely to hear from you.
Your decorating sounds fantastic and you colour schemes sound like they will really work well. I think I shall go for a nice bright yellow in the dining room as we have the conservatory when it is sunny it will be so wa

sorry about that, wrong button pressed! As I was saying, as I help in the school anyway on Thursdays I shall be there to help walk them to church. Its only a 5 minute walk away.
Well, the kids are off next week for a fortnight. I know Robert is ready for a holiday as it has been a long term this time and it will be nice for me and him to spend some time together. The museum in town usually have some good things on for the kids so we shall visit there. Mark has the second week off and is talking about visiting the imperial war museum in London. We shall have to see, but I'm sure we shall have some nice days out, weather permitting!
I hope you have a nice weekend and good luck with the cats. By the way how is your mum? my dad seems really well at the moment, touchwood.
Speak to you soon and take care

Good morning Angie, hope you are well.
You certainly seem to have your work cut out with your cats! It will be lovely to see the kittens though when they are born. Do you have homes for them already? Like you say she will be totally unpredictable and have the kittens in the most awkward place! Good luck!
Well, I had a good shopping spree yesterday. I got some trainers and sandals in Shoe Zone. (I felt a bit silly buying sandals as it was freezing outside!)
I then went to Matalan and got some really nice trousers and a top and 2 pairs of trousers for Robert. I also went to Dunelm, I dont know if you have visited one of these shops, but I got some curtains for Roberts room and they were only £11.99 and they are fully lined. A real bargain. I came home really chuffed!
It was nice to see the people in Iraq so happy yesterday. I hope that everything works out OK for them.

Hi Angie, you have been busy. I hope your feeling better now. I havent been too good myself. There is a bug going round Roberts school and I think I picked it up. I have just had a funny tummy but it drags you down. I hate having a bad head which I usually get every month.
Congrats for the Grand National, can you buy your garden centre now!!! Wouldnt it be nice for you, never mind keep doing the lottery.
We have a brilliant QD here. They are great arent they? I have had some really good bargains over the years. They are putting a pound land in town here so that should be pretty good. I like a good bargain.
Well, the cooker beckons me to get on with the dinner.Take care and speak to you soon
