In Garden ER, Adam Knopp, Nick Ehler and green-fingered guru Sven Wombwell, come to the rescue of hapless individuals whose attempts at horticultural makeovers have resulted in absolute chaos. Each episode sees the team arrive in the Garden ER 'ambulance', complete with tools, plans and building materials and a makeover deadline of up to two days.

The first programme introduces the team as they rush to the aid of a Belfast plot in need of resuscitation. Homeowner Christina McClure wants a new garden as a surprise for her family and Adam's design certainly does the job, transforming the space into a magical area complete with fairytale fortress, maze, enchanted forest and chequerboard stage. Overseeing the proceedings and organising the lads is presenter Katrina Buchanan, who even manages to find time to help Christina choose some pots.

As well as the practical aspects of making over a garden, Garden ER looks at the concepts behind planting schemes, the use of space and other gardening techniques. In every show the experts will deliver practical tips for the viewers.
