I have been growing an avacado for the last five weeks on a window sill in a little glass of water.
So far, the pip has split and there is a stem quite long but not quite taller than the pip yet. It is doing well but there don't seem to be any roots atall or any thing that looks like they will tern in to roots 
...
-What should I do with it?
- I am scared of drowning the plant in the water,
-at what stage should I take the pip out of the water and plant it?
-what soil sould I use to plant it?
-Where do I plant it
