Water butt 'lockable' hose, or hose with tap on end?

Hello, I have a small yard with lots of pots and containers which need regular watering. In a bid to cut down on water consumption I bought a slimline water butt, which fits perfectly between the side of my little shed and the house wall. Anything bigger would take up too much space in my little yard.

However, I've noticed that I could esaily fit another slimline butt BEHIND my present one and connect them up, doubling my capacity. The problem is that I obviously couldn't be able to get to the tap of the second butt because it'd be unreachable.

My question is, does anyone know of any kind of hose-thingumy which I could connect to the second butt's tap and run out alongside the first butt. It would require a tap or lock on the end of the hose itself since the second butt's tap would need to be 'on' permanently.

Does anyone know of a suitable product? Sorry if this was a bit confusing! Confused

NO TAP NEEDED. If you connect a hose about 2 metres long to the tap of the hidden butt, open that tap and then run the hose up into the air and tie it so that the open end is above the top of the water level, the water will not run out. When you want water, just lower the open end and the water will run out. Your only need is to have a secure way of holding up the loose hose so that it does not fall down accidentally and empty the hidden butt.

Of course! Tongue
Simplicity itself! I don't know why that didn't occur to me. Thank you!
