Your not to late for planting things the season is just beginning on this, i planted some spring cabbages i bought from a small local garden centre on sunday, As for brambles, and weeding, i got a plot last year dock weeds are my down fall, they come back although less and less, i would suggest starting on a small area on your plot and then cover the rest of your plot with plastic or old carpets anything you can get your hands on to stop the light getting to the soil. Cut back any overgrown brambles.Hope this helps!

Hi I've just signed up and still trying to learn how to post a question about my Jasmine beesaminium (spelling error I know). It just loks straggley and isn't flowering. Does anyone know anything about this plant. I was informed that it is a climber but I'm beginning to wonder. Sorry to bother you if I've done this completely wrong but good luck with your allotment. Smile
