I have been watching The Big Dig and was fascinated by the lady who uses a Lundar Planting Calendar. As it is the middle of the year now I think it is a bit late to buy a new one for 2007 but does anyone know where I will be able to view one on the web?

I too want to know more about the biodynamic system and would love to see a 2007 calendar - any chance?

If you want a moon planting guide on the web the best one by far is at www.the-gardeners-calendar.co.uk They have a 7 day guide on the site with suggestions of what plants to sow.

I looked at the gardeners calendar but it doesn't seem to show the Planting Times using the ascending and descending moon, so I don't think its a proper Biodynamic Lunar calendar.
If you want a Biodynamic calendar you need to use Maria Thun's 'Biodynamic Sowing and Planting calendar' which is in book format at the Centre for Alternative Technology here: [link] , or alternatively the LunarOrganics wallchart calendar here: [link]

Thanks Quinoa - I haven't been on the message boards for a while, so I only saw your post today. The links are great to both the sites. They seem very interesting and genuinely into their gardening.

Definitely worth investigating one of their calendars - I'm going back to these sites pronto.

If you are using a lunar calendar for planting, remember to plant some when the calendar says that it is the worst time.
I expect to see no difference in the final result.
