We bought our house last June and knew that we had a bit of work to do but not half as much as we ended up doing.

As the interior of the house is starting to come too now we are planning on working on the exterior this summer.

I have my plan of what I would like to do in the garden which consists of a path weaving round two circular lawns which does not seems too complicated! but at the moment we have a tarmaced patio area of approx 3m x 4m which we want to get rid of. How would we do this and/or how much would we expect to pay someone to do it for us?

Smile Mandy. We only moved into our new place 6th Oct 2006. Lots of work to do in the house, garden like a wilderness. Much work by yours truly, the house is now close to finished.
Now starting on the garden, hope to get some veg in place incl runner beans and some salad items. its late to start so I dont know what results I will achieve, just hard work and prayer. Got quite a bit of sun tan today Sunday 29th April, lawns will follow in Sept.
Do not know what the cost will be for removing your tarmac, you shoul make sure you get prices from at least three different people, and get them to spell out exactly what they will do for the money, good luck and happy gardening.
