Please can you advise me what to do with wild violets in my lawn,they are strangling my grass I have tried weed and feed but to no avail. I am frightened to use anything stronger in case it destroys my lawn altogether.

Can you help me,I Have an allotment,and the next garden has chickens he gives me the chicken manure,but I have been told that this is high in nitrogen,is there anything I could mix this with so it become usable,I did use it on my potato's last year and I got a lovely crop of foliage and hardly any potato's

Please help me I have a problem with my honeysuckle leaves they have black spots on them,they are old plants but this is the first year this has happened.
