Some time ago there was a company which supplied peat blocks by mail order. After attempting to find them by searching all garden suppliers I could think of I havedrawn a blank. Can anyone help?

I am in full agreement with you ,after all the jobs needing attention do not change from year to year. Another presenter who always gave good tips was Peter Seabrook Cool

Cool I have very often admired the wisteria growing around some of the dwellings and envy the people who have managed to keep it going.

Wink I have grown runner beans in pots, potatoes too with moderate success. This year I am attempting to grow dwarf french beans in pots as well. They seem O.K. at the time of writing so I would say by all means give it a try.

I have not had much success with lavenda but fuchsias are I find quite different. I find that cuttings taken of the current years growth and positioned around the edge of a pot filled with 50/50 silver sand and J.I. No.1 root quite quickly.

I have just sown some runners. They are in a position where they get sun from 0930-1500hrs. They say that they can be grown in pots, but when I attempted this I found that the wind blew them over. Smile
