Young Kids like cats but the left overs are not too good for the kids. Lion poo pelets are kind of cheap but why not buy or visit one of the just for Christmas left overs and get a childs best friend, an asset to teaching responsability, loving, caring, friendlyness and loyalty so why not go out and get a Dog. The RSPCA will love you for giving a loving home to one of the unwanted whilst the cats will stay away from their natural enemy. Come to think of it the kids will have protection for life. My two dogs protect me my kids and my garden, They are great! and I am cat free even though the next door nabour has several Cheeky

I've been growing potatoes in pots around 1 & 1/2 foot tall and about the same round. Between 2 to 4 seed potatoes in the pot around 2/3 the depth and with soil piled up as high as it can above the rim of the pot. Left until the leaves show with the watering usually daily I pile up more earth until it drops off the pot. When the leaves begin to die down then I tip the pot out to get at least one meals worth which when serving six of us, its not bad. Pots are great and so easy.
