Here it is from the Market Kitchen episode:
Ingredients (some quantities are mine as they never seem to give you the quantities on the show, but it's cool. Common sense, I guess...) :
Red Chillies (fresh or dried ok) , cloves (about 4), cinnamon (a small stick), cummin seeds - 1 tsp, coriander seeds - 1 tsp, black peppercorns - 6, turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp, garlic - about 2 cloves, ginger - small piece , tamarind paste-1 tsp, sugar - 1 tsp, white wine vinegar, water, onion chopped - 1 medium, oil (2 tbsp?), about 2 tomatoes - chopped
Grind (best in a mortar): chillies, cloves, cinnamon, cummin seeds, coriander seeds, peppercorns, turmeric
Blitz the spice mix with: white wine vinegar (looked about 1/2 a cup), garlic, ginger, tamarind, sugar - add water to get it into a paste - careful not to add too much.
In a saucepan: Brown onion in oil, add spice paste. tomatoes. bit of salt. Best to cook this down for a while, then add chicken (small pieces so it cooks fast).
Slow cook about another 20-25 minutes (till chicken is melt-in-your-mouth tender)
yum!
